Divine Entanglement

Where could I go and not find your Spirit there? Is there anywhere I could escape your presence? If I go to the farthest region of space and beyond, you are there. If I am laid to rest in the deepest grave, you are there. If I had wings to fly with the dawn to reach the faraway seas, your hand would be there to guide me. Your mighty hand would be there to protect me. If I were to say, “Surely the darkness of night will keep me from being seen,” you would see me as if the night were daylight.
Psalm 139:7–11 The Discussion Bible
Divine Entanglement

Two particles spun in a mysterious embrace,
Although far away, joined in a deep, hidden place.
No matter the distance—no matter how far—
What happens to one shapes how others are.

“Oh how can this be?” cried the thinkers of old,
“No signal, no pathway, no message is told.”
Yet still they responded, as if they both knew
A bond formed when their pairing first grew.

Now what if this wonder, so tiny, so small,
Is hinting at One who is present in all?
If quanta stay linked though the cosmos expands,
What more of the One who holds all in his hands?

For God is not distant, nor bound by space,
He fills every moment, each time and place.
No corner is too hidden, no star out of sight.
He dwells in the day, and he dwells in the night.

Before you have spoken, before you have cried,
He knows every thought that you try to disguise.
Each hope and question that forms in your mind
Is already known to him—no detail left behind.

If you climbed the heavens or sank to the deep,
If you wander deserts or climb mountains steep,
If you fled to the edge where creation grows dim—
You’d still find yourself fully present with him.

God isn’t watching from far, like a distant observer.
He’s as close as your breath—your Creator, Preserver.
More present than space, more aware than your sight,
He walks in your darkness and stands in your light.

Marvel at quantum entanglements out of view,
Still linked in a way we can’t fully construe.
Yet the greater truth that quantum mystery shows
Is the God of the Universe as near as he knows.

No distance can separate. No silence can hide.
No thought escapes him, no truth pushed aside.
For God is both present—completely, each part—
And he’s fully aware of the depths of your heart.
